Gemeinsam mit unseren Freunden des Pierre de Coubertin Netzwerks aus Ülenurme in Estland, Erfurt und Würzburg in Deutschland, Tabor in Tschechien, Mürzzuschlag und Unterwaltersdorf in Österreich durften wir das 20-Jahr-Jubiläum unserer Partnerschule „Gymnázium Pierra de Coubertina“ in Piestany, Slowakei, feiern. Der Festtag stand ganz im Zeichen der Olympischen Prinzipien und Werte und der Coubertin Jugendforen. So entstand ein Miteinander durch sportliche Aktivitäten und Wettkämpfe, olympische Wissenstests und kritisch satirische Theater-Stücke und auch die Sprachkompetenzen konnten so nebenbei erweitert und gestärkt werden.
Zahlreiche Ehrengäste folgten der Einladung zum Festakt in den Turnsaal, wo allen Gästen ein abwechslungsreiches und herzliches Programm geboten wurde, und unterstrichen so die Bedeutung der Schule.
Auf weitere verbindende 20 Jahre!

Together with our friends from the Pierre de Coubertin Network in Ülenurme, Estonia, Erfurt and Würzburg in Germany, Tabor in the Czech Republic, and Mürzzuschlag and Unterwaltersdorf in Austria, we had the privilege to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our partner school, „Gymnázium Pierra de Coubertina“ in Piestany, Slovakia. The celebrations focussed on the Olympic principles and values, as well as to the Coubertin Youth Forums of the past 20 years. Through sports activities and competitions, Olympic knowledge quizzes, and critically satirical theatre performances a sense of togetherness was fostered. In the process, language skills were also naturally improved.
Numerous distinguished guests attended the celebration in the gym, where a varied and creative program was presented, highlighting the importance of the school and the Olympic ideas.We are really looking forward to another 20 years of connection!
